{"id":344,"date":"2012-07-21T07:00:06","date_gmt":"2012-07-21T14:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/?p=344"},"modified":"2022-08-28T10:24:40","modified_gmt":"2022-08-28T17:24:40","slug":"relaxing-at-our-casual-bb-wine-bar-in-montepulciano-tuscany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/?p=344","title":{"rendered":"Relaxing at Our Casual B&#038;B Wine Bar in Montepulciano, Tuscany"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of our favorite memories from our Greece\/Italy Honeymoon in 2011 was the time we spent in the wine bar at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.locandasanfrancesco.it\/index.php\">Locanda San Francesco<\/a>, our bed &amp; breakfast in Montepulciano, Tuscany. \u00a0Check-in for the B&amp;B was actually in the wine bar, and we were greeted with a complimentary drink and snack when we arrived. \u00a0The wine list at the bar features a selection of local wines, most notably the famous Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. \u00a0There is an option to enjoy a glass, a bottle, or even a tasting flight. \u00a0We loved the wine, but the ambiance is what is most memorable. \u00a0We not only returned for the experience the night of our arrival, but also each of the following four nights.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/LaLocanda.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-349 aligncenter\" title=\"La Locanda Wine Bar\" src=\"http:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/LaLocanda-500x333.jpg\" alt=\"Wine bar at La Locanda in Montepulciano, Tuscany\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/LaLocanda-500x333.jpg 500w, https:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/LaLocanda-449x300.jpg 449w, https:\/\/suitcasejournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/LaLocanda.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The wine bar includes a small bar as well as several tables, armchairs, and coffee tables.
